2012 Post Pow Wow Familiarization Tours
 Following Pow Wow 2012 there will be opportunities to explore the diversity of California.
California really does have it all! Whether shopping at mega malls or local boutiques, dining at thousands of restaurants, enjoying countless beaches along more than 1,264 miles of scenic coastline, being thrilled at theme parks, hitting the slopes or visiting California’s renowned state and national parks, California is the year-round destination of choice.
In support of International Pow Wow in Los Angeles, Visit California and its industry partners, are showcasing eight spectacular post-familiarization tours. These tours are designed to showcase the many diverse offerings of California and are the official familiarization tours authorized by International Pow Wow/U.S. Travel Association.
Registration is only available to International Pow Wow buyers and press. The registration fee is $150.00 (U.S. Dollars) and includes group transportation, accommodations, activities and specified group meal functions. All other charges and incidentals are to be paid by the individual. Space is limited. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Familiarization tour itineraries are subject to change.
All familiarization tours depart from Los Angeles Convention Center on Thursday morning, April 26 and end on Sunday, April 29 at either Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) or San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Delegates are responsible for making their own return flight arrangements from either airport.

During the next three days you’ll enjoy a drive through San Bernardino County’s diverse landscapes, towns and cities. We’ll search out some of the most intimate and dynamic mountain views in the San Bernardino Mountains and Big Bear Lake. We’ll explore Joshua Tree National Park and visit one of its great secrets, the Queen of the Desert Ghost Ranch. Then we’ll get our “kicks on Route 66.” We’ll explore the ‘Mother Road.”; visit her towns, ruins and meet people with a deep love and appreciation of its California legacy.
