IFTM TOP RESA
A total of 32,480 tourism and travel industry professionals attended the show in 2017 which featured 1700 exhibiting brands. This 5% increase in attendance clearly demonstrates the show’s importance as the industry's flagship event and barometer. The show has been totally revamped to keep up with sector trends in France and internationally, with new areas being created, the introduction of unique events with cross-industry appeal, and greater emphasis than ever on the customer experience.
Key Figures: 32,480 industry professionals 82% French and 18% international, 1700 brands, 30,000 m2 of exhibition space, more than 150 talks and presentations, 12 official partners, 31 media partners and 21 show partners.
Visit California will this year again welcome California industry partners to participate. Visit California regularly exhibits at this show and can count on welcoming approximately 150 extremely well-qualified travel trade visitors consisting mainly of key travel agencies, airlines, media and tour operators. It has also proved particularly fruitful for media contacts in the past. Booth space is offered to California partners to co-exhibit as part of Visit California's own exclusive, branded stand space at the exhibition. Each delegate buy-in consists of approximately 2 linear feet of desk space and show entry for up to 2 people.
Following the success of last year's optional day of sales visits to Paris-based trade buyers, we will again offer this choice to partners in 2018. This year we will arrange meetings in Paris on BOTH Monday 24 September & Friday 28 September and partners can join either or both. The add-on participation fee is $500/day.
Visit California runs a quiz-based data-capture on the stand and partners are asked to contribute to the prize with overnight stays or other appropriate prize elements. Data captured is shared with participating partners.
Please note : After the substantial space expansion and increased brand presence of Visit California at IFTM Top Resa in 2017, some partners have already signed up for 2018 along with some receptive agencies. Early registration is therefore strongly recommended.
