Non-Stop Airlift to California

A monthly summary of non-stop seats to California, including total domestic and international airlift, as well as a breakdown of airlift by market into California.

• In August 2025, California’s domestic air travel recorded 9.9 million non-stop seats to destinations across the state, 2.7% decline from August 2024.
• Internationally, Visit California’s 13 priority markets accounted for 1.7 million non-stop seats to the state, marking a 0.2 % year-over-year decrease.
• Japan and the United Kingdom led overseas markets in the number of non-stop seats to California. Meanwhile, Italy (+27%), China (+20%) and Middle East (+16%) recorded the highest year-over-year growth in airlift capacity.
