JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary
Lead the ongoing administration and support of technical projects for the Data & Analytics team. Work closely with business and functional leaders, vendor partners and subject matter experts to ensure the health of projects related to CRM, Data Warehouse, BI Tool and various data pipelines and integrations across the organization.
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day efforts related to the configuration, maintenance and improvement of these platforms as well as supporting adoption and training across other business units at Visit California.
A successful candidate will be proactive in soliciting project requirements from relevant business stakeholders and delivering creative solutions through an agile framework. Performance will be measured through the successful implementation and deployment of various enterprise technology initiatives, with the end goal of delivering value for Visit California and its constituents.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Estimated % of Time Per Activity
- 20% Manage day-to-day administration and support of Visit California’s CRM, Data Warehouse, BI Tool and associated applications.
- 20% Participate in end-to-end implementation planning, including project management, issue management, communication and change management.
- 15% Facilitate requirements gathering and assist with the creation of all project deliverables, as needed.
- 15% Exercise solid project leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and in-depth analytic skills.
- 10% Develop and lead training and adoption of the SFDC platform across the enterprise.
- 10% Establish and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with project stakeholders by providing vision, documentation and future project roadmapping.
- 5% Provide hands-on configuration and customization of the Salesforce product in all declarative tasks, design diagramming and timelines for organizational projects.
- 5% Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Essential Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each key duty satisfactorily as well as exhibit the following qualifications:
- Multi-year experience implementing small, medium and/or enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.
- Multiple Salesforce.com Certifications (i.e. Admin, Consultant, Developer, Architect)
- Demonstrated project management and leadership skills with cross-functional teams of varying size.
- Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills along with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment. Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
- PMP or CAPM Certification highly desired.
- Wireframing, design diagrams, timelines and documentation experience highly desired.

Salary up to $150,000.
