Ukiah’s tourism industry unites at California Welcome Center

On Nov. 7, more than 40 Mendocino County businesses, local leaders and community members gathered at California Welcome Center, Ukiah for an evening of engagement and connection with Visit California. Operated by The Greater Ukiah Business and Tourism Alliance, CWC, Ukiah was designated in July of 2023. The organization merges The Greater Ukiah Chamber of Commerce, The Ukiah Main Street Program and Visit Ukiah, which serves the community of greater Ukiah and Mendocino County.

This ongoing industry open house series connects business and local leaders with their California Welcome Center, encouraging partnership with both their local center and educating attendees about Visit California’s programs and collaboration opportunities. As each California Welcome Center aims to be the recognized travel resource for both local and statewide information, they are a great resource for locals as well. 

The Ukiah California Welcome Center is one of only two in the North Coast region. It serves the greater Mendocino and Lake County areas.
