San Francisco Hotel Council and Visit California Honor Hotel Heroes

Visit California sponsored and supported The Hotel Council of San Francisco’s 20th Annual Hotel Hero Awards ceremony. Held on April 27 at the Hilton Union Square in the heart of San Francisco, the event featured a cocktail reception, dinner and awards ceremony.

The Hotel Hero Awards recognize and celebrate the industry’s exceptional members and hotels. Awards are presented to dedicated individuals who define their hospitality with their generosity of spirit and devotion to their hotels and guests.

This year, Visit California’s Gohar Manukyan co-presented the Werner Lewin Lifetime Achievement, Operations, along with David Lewin, General Manager of the Grand Hyatt in Union Square San Francisco.

The lifetime achievement in operations award is named in honor of Mr. Werner Lewin, who exemplified the spirit of hard work, integrity and service in his decades in the hospitality industry.

More than 400 attendees from the hospitality industry were present at this year’s awards ceremony.
