Visit California joined top luxury travel brands and elite buyers from across the region at ILTM Asia Pacific, a premier trade show held in Singapore that spotlights the latest trends in high-end travel. The four-day event featured one-on-one appointments, immersive networking events and thought leadership programming aimed at shaping the future of global luxury travel.
With more than 60% of attendees originating from China, India or Australia, the show served as a valuable platform to deepen California’s relationships in key Asia Pacific markets. Visit California’s presence focused on showcasing the state’s world-class destinations and luxury offerings to qualified buyers looking for unique, experience-driven itineraries.
This year, Visit California was represented by team members from the U.S., India and China offices. The delegation completed 112 formal trade appointments and participated in additional networking throughout the event. California’s presence included five destination marketing partners, four hotel partners, three experience providers, and one retail partner. The delegation also featured one of California’s newest destination management companies, Uncommon Trip, which brought a fresh perspective to itinerary development and ground support.
California destinations were grouped together on the trade floor for the first time, creating a cohesive visual footprint.
Visit California also participated in the event’s public relations track to assess future opportunities for luxury-focused media engagement. The team connected with journalists from a variety of publications during small group appointments and informal interactions, building interest in current brand campaigns and identifying opportunities for future collaboration.
ILTM Asia Pacific reinforced the importance of maintaining a strong, coordinated presence in the region. Visit California’s role as a connector between California's luxury tourism assets and the Asia Pacific buyer community continues to be essential as international demand evolves and high-value travelers seek out premium, personalized experiences in the Golden State.
