International Arrivals

A monthly summary of non-resident air arrivals at any California ports of entry (POE).

• In June 2026, California welcomed 560,364 total non-resident international air arrivals across all ports of entry, a 0.1% increase compared to June 2025.
• Arrivals from Visit California’s 13 priority markets totaled 38,794, reflecting a 1.5% year-over-year decline.
• Canada was California’s top international source market with 74,962 arrivals, down 2.2% year over year. Mexico followed with 54,180 arrivals, up 2.5%, while China recorded 49,742 arrivals, a 4.6% increase.
• Arrivals from Australia, whose national team played all group stage matches on the West Coast, including one in San Francisco, were up more than 10%.
• Japan arrivals were up a notable 18.9%, largely driven by the World Cup and other major sports events.
• European arrivals were generally down for the month, with a steep 27.3% decline from France.
