Visit California partnered with accessibility advocates and content creators Chelsie Hill (@chelsiehill) and Cory Lee (@curbfreecorylee) to spotlight inclusive experiences across the Golden State, showcasing accessible outdoor adventures, welcoming communities and family-friendly destinations for travelers of all abilities.

Hill, a professional dancer, disability advocate and founder of the Rollettes wheelchair dance team, explored Southern California with her husband and young daughter. Her journey highlighted accessible experiences across Joshua Tree, Palm Springs, Temecula and Oceanside, sharing how destinations are creating opportunities for more travelers to experience California. Through Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, Hill reaches a combined audience of more than 1.2 million followers.

Returning Visit California partner Cory Lee, one of the world’s leading wheelchair travel creators, continued his California adventures with a road trip featuring three national parks and urban experiences in Berkeley. Through his platform Curb Free with Cory Lee, he provides destination inspiration and practical guidance for travelers with disabilities looking to explore the world.

These partnerships build on Visit California’s ongoing commitment to accessible travel. One in six people globally live with some form of disability, including 66 million Americans. Despite the size and influence of this audience, travel remains inaccessible for many due to inconsistent information, limited representation and uncertainty about on-the-ground experiences. By partnering with trusted creators like Chelsie and Cory, whose loyal audiences drive high engagement rates across their platforms, Visit California is working to directly address both perception and practical barriers while expanding access to this underserved market.

In addition to these partnerships, Visit California launched its Accessible Travel Hub last year, bringing inclusive experiences to life through authentic storytelling. By collaborating with trusted voices in the accessibility community, Visit California continues to highlight destinations and businesses working to ensure the California experience is available to everyone.
