Visit California launches redesigned Media Center & Travel Matters...

Visit California’s redesigned Media.VisitCalifornia.com and TravelMattersCA.com websites are now live.

The Media Center serves as Visit California primary resource for journalists covering California tourism, bringing together story ideas, press releases, photography and industry facts in one place. The site also includes resources for travel advisors and tour operators building California travel products and is available in seven languages across 13 international markets.

Travel Matters serves as a resource for California legislators, business leaders and other decision-makers, highlighting the economic and community benefits of travel and tourism across the state.

Both redesigned sites make it easier for users to find timely, accurate information about California’s tourism industry.

The Media Center puts a sharper focus on what’s new across the Golden State, from hotel and restaurant openings to new attractions and milestone anniversaries, helping journalists discover timely story ideas that set California apart. New multimedia formats and expanded media kits also give journalists more resources to bring California stories to life.

The redesign also expands the Media Center’s Travel & Trade Resources section with guides and itineraries for tour operators, travel advisers and trade partners. Resources span California’s diverse tourism offerings, including Route 66, luxury travel, family adventures, LGBTQ+ travel and more.
