'Meet What's Possible'
Professional Meetings & Events
Event planners and executives can now “Meet What’s Possible” in California for their upcoming professional meetings and events. This B2B campaign showcases the Golden State as a magnet for innovators with an abundance of inspirational settings — the No. 1 destination for businesses to fire up their anything-is-possible mindset.
The nation’s No. 1 destination for tourism has formed a coalition to ensure it’s also the top state for meetings and events. An initial $4.5 million investment, made possible by state stimulus funding, focuses solely on the professional meetings and events industry and aims to highlight the state’s sustainability and innovation while welcoming groups of all kinds to bring their meetings to the Golden State.
'The Birthplace'
Visit California’s B2B campaign shows that creativity, positivity, sustainability and technological innovation are in California’s DNA. Digital and print ads are running in the publications most trusted by professional planners.
Trade Events
Visit California and a delegation of co-branded destinations launched “Meet What’s Possible” for thousands of planners at 2021 IMEX America, the largest professional meetings and events conference in the United States. Through 2022, the campaign will maintain a large presence at major domestic events for meeting planners. A series of Taste of California domestic events will host event planning communities in California’s largest U.S. business markets.
The platform is guided by a task force of the state’s major meetings and events destinations, marking a new spirit of cooperation among many long-time competitors.
