International Arrivals

A monthly summary of non-resident air arrivals at any California ports of entry (POE).

• In July 2026, California welcomed 629,100 nonresident international air arrivals across all ports of entry, a 3.4% decrease compared with July 2025.
• Arrivals from Visit California’s 13 priority markets totaled 452,898, also reflecting a 3.4% year-over-year decline.
• Mexico became California’s top international source market, with 81,000 arrivals, marking the highest year-over-year increase (+12.9%) for the month. 
• Canada followed with 69,522 arrivals, down 2.3%, while China recorded 58,085 arrivals, up 0.2%.
• Arrivals from Japan increased 9.1%, while arrivals from the U.K. increased 3.5%.
• The sharpest declines were recorded in France (-26.5%), the Middle East (-24%), the Nordics (-19.7%) and South Korea (-18.3%).
