• In February 2026, total passenger traffic across California’s top ten airports reached 14.6 million, with domestic travelers accounting for 80% of the volume. Overall traffic was up 2.2% compared to February 2025.
• The state’s three busiest airports—LAX (4.9M), SFO (3.7M), and SAN (1.8M)—collectively handled 10.4 million passengers during the month.
• Oakland (OAK, -10.9%), San Jose (SJC, -9.7%) , Burbank (BUR, -6.5%) and reported the steepest year-over-year declines.
• Meanwhile, San Diego  (+12.8%) and Ontario (+6.3%) experienced highest growth for the month.
