Visit California Mexico is partnering with IMACOP on a trade, product and California NOVA engagement platform that turns sports, road trips and regional California stories into sellable product for the Mexican trade. California partners may buy into selected initiatives including route and product features, digital hub placement, trade events, agent engagement and seasonal product pushes.
The partnership will run from September 2026 through March 2027. The September launch includes Visit California presence at TurEXPO Guadalajara, followed by broader activity across IMACOP’s trade ecosystem, including digital screen visibility, email and WhatsApp communication, social and video content, a California travel guide/digital hub, agent training, a national sales blitz, webinars, trade events and product development.
IMACOP will also support the development of California travel products, including an exclusive sports-focused package and a California hub featuring 10 to 15 curated offers around live events, national parks, scenic routes, regional destinations and seasonal promotions. The program is designed to connect destination storytelling with product that agents can actually recommend and sell.
California industry partners will have the opportunity to participate in selected initiatives where timing and scope allow. Potential buy-in opportunities may include dedicated placement within the California hub, featured route or product packages, participation in VIP trade events, agent incentives, California NOVA engagement, seasonal promotions and spring travel pushes. Because of the short lead time, the September TurEXPO launch is not included as a partner buy-in opportunity.
This co-op is designed to give California partners greater visibility within Mexico’s travel trade while connecting destination exposure to training, product development and measurable sales opportunities.
